The Exhibition “Exploring Abai Together” Took Place
On October 29, 2025, at 12:00, at the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Goal 4 – “Quality Education”, the exhibition “Exploring Abai Together” was held, dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Abai Kunanbayuly. The event was organized by the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies.
The main goal of the event was to gain a deeper understanding of the Great Abai’s spiritual heritage, to study his moral principles and worldview in the context of the spiritual foundations of sustainable development in modern society, as well as to promote intercultural and interreligious understanding and dialogue.
During the exhibition, participants had the opportunity to engage with the spiritual world of the great thinker and share their views on the relevance of Abai’s humanistic and moral ideas in contemporary society. The event provided a broader perspective on Hakim Abai’s philosophical views and spiritual legacy.
The exhibition was organized under the guidance of Prof. K.M. Bishmanov (Doctor of Law), Prof. B.M. Satershinov (Doctor of Philosophy), and Assoc. Prof. M.R. Baltymova (Candidate of Philosophy). The exhibition was prepared by second-year doctoral students of the Islamic Studies and Religious Studies programs — Zh. Beltenov and N. Zhetpisbay.
The event was actively attended by the faculty’s master’s and doctoral students, as well as visitors of the museum.
