The event was attended by Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Alina Galeeva, head of the direction "solutions for the mining industry" Rostislav Kamkin, regional business director of BASF for EMEA and the Central Asian region Miljana Spasic, as well as clients and partners of BASF in the mining and metallurgical industry of Central Asia and representatives of the business community.
The new laboratory is designed to conduct applied scientific research in the fields of mineral processing and hydrometallurgy, as well as to develop innovative solutions that improve the efficiency of mining.
According to experts, the laboratory, based on BASF's global experience in the areas of flotation and hydrometallurgy, will allow mining companies to offer solutions aimed at extracting minerals, reducing costs and ensuring environmental safety.
