At the “Best Innovative Project” competition, held within the framework of the student business incubator and organized by the Center for Technology Commercialization and Creative Industries of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the project of the Faculty of History won a prize.

The team, supervised by Zhuldyz Maratkyzy, a lecturer at the Department of History of Kazakhstan, participated in the competition with their startup project titled “Virtual Paleolithic” and won third place. First-year students Daniyar Aronov, Arman Tolegen, and Bolat Seidullayuly actively contributed to the project, demonstrating high performance.

Creating a multifunctional product through the effective use of IT technologies for a humanities-based project is a remarkable achievement. This initiative has become an example of developing interdisciplinary connections and combining the science of history with modern digital tools.

The “Virtual Paleolithic” project aims to teach the history of ancient eras in a visual format, using modern software solutions to present historical knowledge in a new and engaging way. This approach makes the learning process more interesting and accessible.

The project leader and participating students expressed their gratitude to the university administration, the Center for Technology Commercialization and Creative Industries, for organizing the competition. They plan to further improve and expand the project in the future.
