Business incubator opened in Farabi hub

A ceremonial opening of the TusPark Business Incubator Co., established on the basis of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, took place at the Farabi HUB Innovation Development Center.

The event was attended by members of the Tus Holdings Co. (PRC) delegation, university scientists, and faculty members.

At the ceremony, Zhansseit Tuimebayev, Chairman of the Board and Rector of Al-Farabi KazNU, delivered a congratulatory speech, noting that the project is aimed at implementing the tasks set out in the Address of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the People of Kazakhstan.

"The joint incubator is a modern infrastructural and organizational platform integrated into the innovation ecosystem. Its activities are aimed at supporting and developing startups. The main focus will be on DeepTech, digital, biotechnological, biomedical, and ‘green’ technologies. The incubator will apply advanced international experience in transforming scientific developments into business solutions and will facilitate the entry of innovative projects into global markets”, – the Rector emphasized.

During the event, Jinsheng Zhang, Executive President of Tus Holdings Co., Ltd, also spoke, noting that the new joint project will serve as an effective platform for technology transfer, commercialization of scientific developments, and the creation of sustainable business models.

"TusHoldings fulfills the mission of transforming scientific and technological achievements, incubating startups, and developing innovative talents”, – said Jinsheng Zhang.

The new business incubator will become an important platform that strengthens scientific and innovative cooperation between the university and its Chinese partners, while also supporting entrepreneurial initiatives.
