The chairman of the board-Rector of kaznu Zhanseit Tuimebayev opened the meeting with a welcoming speech and noted the importance of digital technology. "The development of digital technologies is a time of new opportunities and challenges. President of the country Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his address noted artificial intelligence as a priority. Today it is not only an object of research, but also a powerful tool for solving engineering and production tasks. President of the National Academy of engineering of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Zhumagulov, academician of the National Academy of engineering of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aidarkhan Kaltayev, corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of Russia Sergey Kabanikhin also spoke at the opening ceremony, where they discussed the fundamental problems of mathematics and mechanics.
Within the framework of the three-day international meeting, plenary sessions with the participation of world-class scientists were held; breakout sessions in the fields of Mathematics, Mechanics, it; stand-up sessions in which young researchers present their projects; a round table "artificial intelligence in Science and engineering: challenges and opportunities" and other events.
During the conference, academicians of the National Academies of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation, professors of the University of Pittsburgh, University of Padua, University of London (Queen Mary), Nazarbayev University and other leading research centers made presentations. The best reports and research were also awarded special prizes.
The meeting discussed fundamental and Applied Problems of mathematics and mechanics, the latest achievements in the field of robotics, information technology and artificial intelligence.
