Higher Requirements for IT Specialists.
At Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a session was held to discuss President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s Address to the Nation of Kazakhstan and the prospects for developing artificial intelligence.
The event, organized by the Faculty of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence, brought together IT professionals, researchers, faculty members, and students.
The session was opened by Timur Imankulov, Dean of the Faculty, who highlighted the strategic importance of the President’s Address and emphasized the university’s role in training specialists for the development of the digital economy.
Senior Researcher of the R&D Center for Information and High-Performance Technologies, Edil Nurakhov, delivered a presentation on “Strategic Directions of the President of Kazakhstan’s 2025 Address”, stressing the need to implement digitalization, innovation, and AI technologies across various sectors.
During the roundtable discussion, participants examined the need to raise the requirements for IT specialists, shared ideas for AI development, and discussed research initiatives by young scientists. The session concluded with recommendations for further development of scientific and educational AI projects.
