Entrepreneur’s Day: Students Discussed Business Strategies
On October 29, 2025, in honor of Entrepreneur’s Day and within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 8 — Sustainable Economic Growth and Decent Work, SDG 9 — Innovation and Industry), a round-table discussion titled “Marketing Strategies of Enterprises: Current Trends and Domestic Experience” was held. The aim of the event was to enhance students’ understanding of the role of marketing in strengthening the competitiveness of domestic companies.
During the session, students:
• Analyzed marketing strategies of well-known Kazakhstani companies including:
“TsESNA-Astyk” JSC, “Rahat” JSC, “Bayan Sulu” JSC, “Alelle Agro” JSC, “Saryagash Aqua” LLP, and FoodMaster;
• Evaluated their market positions using SWOT and 4P tools;
• Developed strategic solutions in teams;
• Strengthened their analytical and entrepreneurial competencies.
A mini-competition titled “Smart Strategy Challenge” was held, where the winning team presented an innovative SMM campaign concept for a domestic brand.
