The rector got acquainted with the latest updates in the scientific centers of KazNU

Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev visited the scientific centers of the university campus and got acquainted with the work on the renovation and modernization of scientific centers.

First of all, the head of the university visited the Farabi Hub center for innovative products and high-tech projects. The Rector was presented with the main directions of the center's development and plans for the future.

Then the rector visited the International Institute of Digital Technologies and Robotics, as well as the Competence Center for Robotics and Mechatronics. Here he was shown the results of research in the field of industrial robot control and told about new educational programs aimed at training specialists in the field of robotics.

In addition, Zhanseit Tuimebayev got acquainted with the construction of a workshop for the development of unmanned aerial vehicles, created jointly with the Chinese company Yuan Zhen. Finishing and installation work is currently underway at the facility.

The Rector noted the importance of further strengthening the scientific potential of the university and instructed responsible specialists to accelerate the renovation of the scientific infrastructure, provide laboratories with modern equipment and create the most favorable conditions for the work of scientists.
