On November 29, 2025, third-year students of the “Logistics” major, group LG23 K2, contributed to the project “Farabi Greencampus: Clean University,” aimed at making the campus cleaner and greener.
The initiative was organized in line with the principles of the 12th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) — “Responsible Consumption and Production,” which promotes waste reduction and efficient resource use.
During the event, students collected litter around academic buildings and recreation areas, and took part in maintaining green spaces. In addition, participants discussed the importance of fostering environmental awareness and distributed informational leaflets about waste sorting and recycling methods.
This campaign was not just a cleaning activity but a meaningful initiative to enhance students’ environmental responsibility and support the ideas of sustainable development.
Such ecological projects help shape young people’s environmental mindset and make a significant contribution to developing a “green” university culture. The students plan to continue these good initiatives in the future, implementing new projects aimed at strengthening ecological sustainability.
Organizers: Faculty members of the Department of Business Technologies, group advisor Senior Lecturer A.Zh. Boltaeva, and N.T. Tulebayeva.
