“Eco-Volunteering Movement” Challenge

On November 14, 2025,  Senior Lecturer of the Department of Turkic Studies and Theory of Language, Tolkyn Nyshanbekovna Kalbirova, conducted an open educational event as  a  part of the “Eco-Volunteering Movement” challenge dedicated to SDG 13 – Climate Action, for  the  first-year students of the Faculty of Philology.

     The event aimed at developing the  students’ environmental awareness, instilling  personal responsibility for  addressing climate change, and ing  eco  habits that reduce their ecological footprint.

      During the session, participants discussed the causes and consequences of climate change, watched thematic videos, and worked in groups to create eco-volunteering initiatives aimed at improving the environmental situation within the university and the city.

      As a result, students emphasized the importance of collective action in combating climate change and proposed meaningful initiatives to strengthen environmental culture at the university.
