An extended meeting of the Department of Electronics and Astrophysics was held

An extended meeting of the Department of Electronics and Astrophysics was held today. During the session, the preliminary defense of PhD candidate Sanzhar Aitqaliuly Sarmanbetov took place. His dissertation is entitled “Hardware Implementation of Information–Entropy Analysis of Signals”, within the specialty 6D071900 – Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications.

The candidate delivered a detailed presentation of the research objectives, key results, theoretical foundations, and the practical applicability of the developed hardware solutions.
Following the presentation, an open academic discussion was held. Members of the department raised a number of technical and methodological questions, provided constructive comments, and offered recommendations aimed at strengthening the scientific validity of the dissertation.

The discussion covered the relevance of the chosen research methods, the adequacy of experimental verification, and the prospects for further application of the developed system.
Based on the results of the meeting, the department noted the overall readiness of the dissertation for final defense after the incorporation of suggested improvements.
