The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology trains undergraduate students within the framework of the educational program "General Medicine" with the teaching of obstetric-gynecological and pediatric disciplines: - Reproductive system, pregnancy and childbirth - Infancy, childhood - Fundamentals of obstetrics - Gynecology - Infancy, childhood, adolescence - Fundamentals of pediatrics - Childhood diseases. History of the Department
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology was organized in September 2024 on the basis of the Department of Clinical Disciplines. The head of the department is Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Almagul Medeubaevna Kurmanova. The professors of the department are Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Mamedalieva Nagima Musralievna, Candidate of Medical Sciences Amanzholova Balkhash Kerikhanovna, Doctor of Medical Sciences Myrzabekova Gulshara Torebekovna. The total number of faculty members of the department is 35 people, including 9 PhD doctoral students. The department also trains specialists in the field of medicine - in residency under the educational program "Obstetrics and Gynecology, Adult, Pediatric". The department carries out research work on grants from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, international projects Prognosis in collaboration with the Scientific Center of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology, the Aitkozhin Institute of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry.
