The department provides instruction of fundamental medical disciplines – molecular and cell biology, medical genetics, medical biophysics, histology, normal and pathological anatomy, normal and pathological physiology, etc. – to HSM students of all specializations. The teaching staff of the department consists of more than 80 teachers, including: 23 candidates of science and PhD doctors, 3 associate professors and 3 professors. 10 teachers have foreign diplomas. The team is mostly represented by doctors (55 people), as well as specialists in the field of biology, biotechnology, chemistry, physics. 3 teachers of the department went on an internship under the Bolashak program, 3 teachers continue their internship under this program.
