Awarded students - athletes of KazNU

Another awards won sports youth of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

For the first time in Kazakhstan at the national competition "Sunkar-2023. Stars of Student Sports", organized to celebrate the achievements of the best students - athletes of the year, the student of the Faculty of Medicine and Public Health of KazNU Akezhan Aitbekov received the award "The best student - athlete".

Akezhan Aitbekov is a gold medalist in freestyle wrestling of the II Turkic Universiade.

A student of the Law Faculty of KazNU Serik Abdimazhit became the winner of the contest organized by the Akimat of Zhambyl region and the Department of Physical Culture and Sports in the nomination "People's Choice - 2023".

Serik Abdimazhit is a silver medalist of the World Sambo Championship, bronze medalist of the World Championship, two-time silver medalist of the Asian Championship, Master of Sports of RK in sambo and judo.

On the threshold of the New Year on the championship of Almaty city among youth on judo wrestling the student of 1st year of philological faculty Aruzhan Soltankhan became the silver prize-winner in weight category of 48 kg.
