Was born in 14th of august, 1986 in Shymkent city. In this city achieved secondary education at #8 gymnasium.
Alibek Sopiyev has 10 years of work experience in the banking sector, and currently holds the position of Deputy Corporate Director (Chief Corporate Manager of China Desk divison) of the JSC “Altyn Bank”.
In 2009, graduated from the Kazakh National University with a bachelor degree in philology: Chinese language. (faculty of Eastern studies)
In 2018, graduated “Narxoz” university with a bachelor degree in Finance.
In 2012, graduated Zhejiang University (China, Hangzhou) with a master degree in Chinese Studies.
Has extensive experience in corporate finance. Carried out professional activities in various areas of oil&gas and banking sphere. His career started at the "AsiaGasPipeline" LLP. Then he worked at the JSC Halyk Bank, held the position of Assistant of CEO. Since 2018, he has been working at Altyn Bank.
Over the years, he had experience in personal translation from Chinese language to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other heads of government departments of the country.
