SDG 4: Curatorial session focused on national identity and social harmony held

On November 20, 2024, a curatorial session was held at the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University for 3rd-year students majoring in Turkology (students from Turkmenistan). The session was moderated by the group’s advisor, senior lecturer Shynarai Burkitbayeva.
The session focused on the following key topics:
– “National Identity”,
– “The Meaning and Importance of Social Harmony”,
– “Kazakhstan as a Multinational State”.
During the session, students shared their thoughts on the preservation of national values and identity, interethnic respect, peaceful coexistence in a multicultural society, and the important role of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in fostering civic unity.
This curatorial hour played a significant role in helping international students better understand and appreciate the cultural context of Kazakhstan, contributing to their successful integration and the development of patriotic and moral values.
