SDG – 4: A cultural event entitled «30 Years of Friendship of Nations» was held

A cultural event entitled «30 Years of Friendship of Nations» was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. This festive gathering was dedicated to strengthening the unity of the peoples of our country, glorifying the contribution of representatives of different ethnic groups to culture and science.

This cultural event was opened by the Rector of our university, Zhanseit Kanseitovich Tuimebayev, and delivered a congratulatory speech. In his speech, he noted that the unity and friendship of the people of Kazakhstan are the guarantee of the stability and development of our country. In addition, teachers and professors of other nationalities who have contributed to strengthening interethnic harmony and social stability at our university, as well as to the development of education and science, and educating the younger generation, were awarded with the «FARABI» gold medal, the «Eren Enbegi» medal of KazNU, a Certificate of Honor, a Letter of Appreciation, and the Badge of Appreciation of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, a Letter of Appreciation, and were honored.

Doctor of Philology, Professor Ekshembeeva Lyudmila Vladimirovna, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor Mun Grigory Alekseevich, PhD, senior lecturer Skripnikova Anastasia Ivanovna, PhD, senior lecturer Ninomiya Takashi, and Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor Mamedova Fatima Zilpikarovna, who have been working and teaching at our university for many years, expressed their gratitude to the university and the Kazakh nation and made reports in Kazakh.

They especially noted the achievements of Kazakhstan in the field of education and science, and noted that the multinational and friendly environment of our university provides a great opportunity for young people to receive quality education.

During the event, the National Instrument Ensemble performed the composition «Our Unity is in Harmony!», giving the audience a special mood. Also, a medley of songs in Kazakh, Russian, Uyghur, Kyrgyz, Turkish and Uzbek languages ​​​​was performed, highlighting the solidarity of ethnic groups in Kazakhstan.

The event concluded with the song «I Love You, Kazakhstan!»

This cultural gathering was not only a symbol of the solidarity and friendship of the people of Kazakhstan, but also contributed to strengthening the unity of multinational youth studying at the university. Our university will continue to hold events aimed at promoting interethnic harmony and cultural diversity in the future.
