Emil Mamleev

Emil Mamleev is a Doctor of Engineering (Dr.-Ing.), specializing in materials science and nanotechnology. He was born on October 26, 1991. He received his education at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (BSc, 2009–2013) and later completed his master's degree at Kiel University (Germany), defending his thesis on magnetic thin films (2013–2016). In 2023, he obtained his Doctor of Engineering degree from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany) with a dissertation titled "Laser-Induced Carbonization for Biosensing."

Since 2024, he has been working as a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Microstructure Technology, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany). Previously, he worked as a process engineer at Vishay Semiconductor GmbH and as a research associate at the Institute of Microsystem Technology (Freiburg, Germany). From 2012 to 2013, he was a junior researcher at the National Nanotechnology Laboratory of KazNU.

His main research areas include carbon nanomaterials, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), biosensors, plasma-enhanced deposition techniques, X-ray spectroscopy, and laser technologies. He has published papers in leading international journals such as ACS Applied Nano Materials, npj Flexible Electronics, IEEE Magnetics Letters.

He actively participates in international scientific conferences, including Transducers, IEEE IFETC, and Diamond and Carbon Materials. Fluent in Russian, English, and German.
