Computer Literacy Courses within the “Silver University” Program

Within the framework of the “Silver University” program, the Institute for Advanced Training and Continuing Education of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is conducting computer literacy courses for citizens over the age of 50.

The main goal of the courses is to enhance digital skills and enable older adults to use modern technologies more confidently in everyday life. The program covers:

• basic functions of personal computers;

• safe use of the internet;

• working with e-mail and messengers;

• access to public e-services through eGov.kz;

• using online payments and digital services.

The training is delivered in a practical format, focusing on simple methods applicable at home and in public settings.
