Meteorology courses launched

At the Faculty of Geography of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, in collaboration with the Republican State Institution "Military Unit 65235" of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, specialized courses in meteorology have been launched.

The primary goal of these courses is to introduce participants to modern weather forecasting methods, climate data analysis, and the application of contemporary meteorological technologies. The program combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice, aiming to enhance the professional competencies of the trainees.

During the sessions, participants explored state-of-the-art forecasting models, the specifics of climate change, and practical methods of data analysis. They also gained valuable experience working with meteorological instruments and analyzing real-time results.

This initiative not only strengthens cooperation between Kazakhstan’s education and defense sectors but also sets a new benchmark in professional training within the field of meteorology.
