Courses in “Historiography and Source Studies” to begin

The Institute for Advanced Training and Continuing Education of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University will launch courses in “Historiography and Source Studies” starting from September 29.

The program focuses on key aspects of historical science. Participants will study major historiographical schools and trends, gain in-depth knowledge of source studies, and explore methodologies for analyzing and interpreting historical sources. The training will also include the study of research methods and approaches to critically assessing historical evidence.

The course objective is to broaden participants’ theoretical background, strengthen their skills in working with sources, and develop their capacity to apply modern historical research methods.
